We took inspiration from 90s film "Pulp Fiction" with the style and story of that film. we planned this to be posted across all socials.

Outline:
Courtside Company is a new streetwear brand from Manchester. They took inspiration from 90s. Their task for us was to create social media content for their clothing drop. After speaking to them and hearing they have to say about the brand, we found that the look they wanted to achieve was to feel exclusive, as the term "courtside" often implies exclusivity at basketball games in America.
With our content, we decided to focus on the Y2K style of fashion, as that was currently trending on social media Through our research, we found that the younger generation has a fascination with nostalgia and retro content and clothing, so creating that feeling through our content was our mission.

Product Shots:
To generate attention to detail with the clothing items, we took product shots in the theater because it still provides a retro feel, which keeps it within our campaign's style.

Polaroids:
We liked this style of retro school pictures from America, so we took images from BTS and used them to create memory stamps. They turned out great for showing how the brand feels.

Footnote:
This was the first live brief that I had the pleasure of working. I gained many valuable skills from this experience, as it was the first time I used video cameras and still cameras. Planning and shooting were sometimes a struggle, with the weather playing a role and finding locations that matched the vibe. Learning to pivot the quickly made me realize how fast you have to be in the industry to meet deadlines.
Courtside Company was thrilled with our work.
"This is phenomenal work" - Dean, Courtside Company Founder.
They mentioned that they would post our work, but they didn't get around to fully posting it, which is always a shame. However, my group and I were very proud to hear that, and on the bright side, I learned some amazing skills, worked with fantastic people, and thoroughly enjoyed this project.
